    Palaces and Kittens in Marrakech

    After a day of quad biking in the desert we made use of the hotel spa and treated ourselves to a relaxing massage first thing. Slightly different to how they’re done here in the fact that their hands go everywhere. Apparently there are no boundaries in Moroccan massaging. Later that day we headed to the Medina for a spot of lunch.     Come rain or shine in Marrakech, Morocco

    We’ve just returned from a four day trip to Morocco. We went in search of sunshine; we got some of that but also a bit of hail, rain and the madness that comes from the heart of Marrakech – in the souks and the Medina. We arrived at our riad Tuesday evening and were warmly welcomed by the staff with a cup of Moroccan tea. We wandered up to the rooftop terrace for a nose before heading straight to bed. The following morning we enjoyed our first hotel breakfast that consisted of Moroccan tea, fresh orange juice, fruit salad, bread, yogurt and a sweet treat that changed daily from pancakes, to…
