    Our Wedding Suppliers

A DIY wedding is both a great big annoyance and the most wonderful way to plan your big day. The annoying part is not really knowing what you are doing and worrying on a daily basis that your guests won’t enjoy the fact you’ve gone off piste and planned a traditional wedding. But for us the positives outweighed the negatives and we decided to go all in, taking the elements from what we liked about weddings and tie that into what was essentially going to be a great, big party. We were able to have full reign on when things happened, what caterers we chose, the booze we ordered, where…

    Oh, hello Spring

There are some surefire signs that Spring has finally sprung. The lighter evenings, the blossom filled trees dotted along the streets, even a bit of sunshine that has painted small freckles across my face. You will also know it’s Spring and crave for more of that sunshine when you step into any HomeSense store. You wouldn’t know it to look at the thermometer, but Spring is nearly upon us! The prospect of finally being able to let a bit of fresh air into the house and have a good Spring clean is an exciting one, but more exciting still is the thought that soon we’ll be able to utilise those spaces which have been forsaken during the cold of the Winter, like…

HomeSense – Dusting away those January blues

I get a little sad that the general vibe around January is that it is a depressing month. Most of us will be returning back to work, early Christmas paydays will mean lots of staying in and we’ll all have huge regret over the amount of food we ate over the festive break. Many will have started resolutions, some already given up but hey, that’s life. I’m not going to judge. One of our joint resolutions is to do some organising around the house. Make sure everything has it’s place and introduce some homely additions. Coincidentally HomeSense asked me to check out their new extensive range of faux flowers and what…
