Roadtripping in Croatia: Dubrovnik
Our final stop and the last few days of our holiday were spent in Dubrovnik. When I was researching where to go in Croatia, most websites said that you couldn’t miss off a trip to Dubrovnik and they were so right! It took a long 6 hour coach journey from Zadar to get there but we were both glad we made the effort. The coach journey wasn’t all that bad – we passed through a small part of Bosnia so had to have our passports checked and drove all along the coast. The views were amazing. We were staying right in the centre of the old city walls, surrounded by…

Roadtripping in Croatia: Zadar and Plitvice Lakes
After three lovely days in Split, we headed north to another popular Croatian destination; Zadar. This was mainly the base for our visit to the Plitvice Lakes. After a two and a half hour coach journey, we arrived in Zadar late afternoon. We had gone for another Airbnb apartment that was right in the centre of the old city. We decided to visit Split, Zadar and Dubrovnik with three days in each. Bristol Airport has flights direct to Split so we began our trip there. We arrived at our Apartment around 6pm, enough time to…

A hip flask holds more connotations of being a mens accessory. Something a suave gentleman pops in the inside of their blazer or jacket and dips into every now and then. I’d like to change this stereotype, make it more acceptable for women to carry one and I think SWIG could be the answer. SWIG was setup in 2013 by David Galbraith, who sold everything he owned and moved across the country to pursue his vision of making the world’s most reliable hip flask brand. I was very kindly sent the Executive Moulded Union Jack edition that I took on my summer holiday to Croatia. I’m a sucker for good…
