I get a little sad that the general vibe around January is that it is a depressing month. Most of us will be returning back to work, early Christmas paydays will mean lots of staying in and we’ll all have huge regret over the amount of food we ate over the festive break.
Many will have started resolutions, some already given up but hey, that’s life. I’m not going to judge.
One of our joint resolutions is to do some organising around the house. Make sure everything has it’s place and introduce some homely additions.
Coincidentally HomeSense asked me to check out their new extensive range of faux flowers and what with me lacking the ability to look after the real things, what better way to brighten up a home than a few floral touches.
There are huge, statement arrangements and smaller, more delicate pieces – both making you get up close and cope a feel to check they are in fact fake.
We picked out some for the bedroom, landing and living room. After seeing how good they look, I’m now keen to add some to the kitchen.
If you are slightly more green-fingered than myself, there is a huge selection of vases to contain your own choice of real flowers.
There are plenty of other ideas for keeping the house looking tidy and make you feel organised; go along and check them out.
They really look nice. I’d probably pick up few myself! Thanks for the idea!
No worries – thanks for stopping by 🙂
My family and I have become vegans and also have been sensation a lot better. We now have also begun to purchase only cruelty totally free products and also this helps make the animals feel great. I take advantage of microfiber gloves for dusting and this can be a eco-friendly cleaner without chemicals. Once they get dirty, I really put them in the washer. I bought them at montervacuum.com site for only 11.99 for 2 features.
